Basically HIEW (Hacker`s view) is a hex viewer for those who need change some bytes in the code (usually 7xh to 0EBh). Also includes utilities for: detailed dump of NE/LX/LE/PE/ELF executables, detailed dump of OMF/COFF libraries and object files, splitting and joining dual executables.

Hiew is able to view unlimited length files in text/hex modes and in Pentium(R) Pro disassembler mode.

· built-in simple decrypt/crypt system

· block operations: read, write, fill, delete, insert, copy, move
· multifile search and replace
· keyboard macros
· editing the NewExecutable files header


Limitations:
· file size is limited to 150000 bytes
· no ini-file processing
· no ordinal names
· no loading/storing keyboard macros in file
· no loading/storing crypt scripts in file
· no progress bar
