What is AB Tutor Control?

AB Tutor Control was designed in response to requests from teachers and trainers who need to interact effortlessly with their students on an individual, group or full classroom basis using a very simple and reliable user interface. No prior experience of computer-based training or networking is required.

The software enables a tutor (or network administrator) to control a number of student workstations in a computer training room - or remote location - from a tutor workstation. Classroom groups can be created by network managers to maintain security on large networks.

Here are some key features of "AB Tutor Control":
· Automatically logon all workstation's to the network
· Launch programs on selected workstations
· Lock the keyboard and mouse on one or more workstations and display a message
· Unlock all locked workstations
· Show the tutors workstation screen to selected students' workstations
· Watch one or more selected workstation screens on the tutors workstation
· Take control of a selected student workstation
· Chat with selected students
· Enable student Chat-back
· Send simple messages
· Create classroom groups and display classroom layouts to indicate workstation locations
· Copy files from the tutors workstation to one or more student workstations
· Transfer files to and from a remote workstation
· Send customised key sequences
· Logoff all workstations from the network
· Shutdown/reboot selected workstations
