File Blast is a useful file deleter utility that will erase files permanently so that they will not be recoverable.

Using the DoD 5220.22-M algorithm (designed by US Department of Defense for erasure of top secret files) file blast ensures that the files contents are completely wiped from disk. If you simply delete a file in windows, its contents are still stored on disk, until another application happens to write over it. Using a file shredder like File Blast is the only way to destroy a file for good.
